AASHI'S SUCCESSFUL 8TH VISIT TO IDHAYAVAASAL OLDAGE HOME

A 40 minute drive from Chennai via the marsh lands of Pallikaranai,brings us the oldage home.A 22 member oldage home run Dr.C.R.Suriyakumar who is the Secretary of the trust.This oldage home is run in the memories of Mr.Parthasarathy.


A wide space of 2 neat & clean rooms for the senior citizens has been provided to make sure that they enjoy a hassle-free environment.


We had a great time playing with them and singing along with them.We had lunch with them which made them happier.I guess they would have enjoyed a lot with our presence too.

We provided them with their monthly provisional needs and gave some cash towards their medicinal purposes.

AASHI wishes all the residents of the oldage home, a peaceful and a happy life!

AASHI'S 7TH SUCCESSFUL VISIT TO MOTTO CHILDRENS NEW WAY

That was a day full of fun and frolicking at MOTTO CHILDRENS NEWWAY situated at Ponneri(50 kms from Chennai approx).We provided them with provisions and food items.

The home consists of 30 children varying from 6-13 ages.They are filled with enthusiam and talents.

We conducted many activities like DANCING,SINGING,MUSICAL CHAIRS,PASSING THE BALL

and outdoor games like CRICKET,RUNNING RACE.

We engaged the children for the day which made them really happy.

AASHI'S 6th SUCCESSFUL VISIT TO HIVE FOUNDATION FOR THE SECOND TIME

We visited Hive foundation situated at Sripermbudur village (40kms from Chennai).This orphanage does not get enough monthly food supplies and amenities.There were 16 children who varies from kindergarden to middleschool.We donated them with all the basic amenities that they needed.We also donated a little cash amount for the children's schooling.

We played games with the kids like cricket and volley ball.On the whole we were satisfied of helping them and the kids were happier too.

AASHI CONDUCTS BLOOD DONATION CAMP ON CHRISTMAS '12

AASHI is proud to announce BLOOD DONATION CAMP combined with ROTARY CLUB V.H.S on 25th DECEMBER AT C.P.W.D Quarters situated at K.K.Nagar,Chennai.

AASHI'S SUCCESSFUL VISIT TO MOTTO CHILDREN'S NEW WAY @ PONNERI

Nearly 23 members of AASHI visited Motto Children's new way, situated at Ponneri on Saturday (10.11.2012).This visit which had to be held at SEED,Sriperumbudur was cancelled due to inopportune problems.
This orphanage which is situated at Thiruvallur District,Ponneri Taluk(42 kms from Chennai) has a strength of 35 children.

AASHI provided them basic needs 

* Detergent Powder and cakes

*Shampoos

*Crackers as a part of Diwali Celebrations

*Papers and Charts

*A pouch containing school accessories.

We conducted many activities which entertained those kids like Kabaddi,

Singing competitions,Pick the ball, and Dance programmes were conducted which entertained the kids for the day.

SEED VISIT WHICH IS DUE ON 10.11.2012 IS CANCELLED

SEED trip which had to be held on 10.11.2012,has been cancelled due to unfortunate reasons.AASHI is deciding on an alternate plan on the same day.Blog will be updated soon as soon as the decisions are taken.
